This summer, silver is the new gold standard - for movies, with the June 15 release of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, and for movie promotions, as Twentieth Century Fox and the Franklin Mint join forces to create an original limited collector’s edition “Silver Surfer” U.S. quarter that will challenge movie goers to Search 4 $ilver.

The collector’s “Silver Surfer” U.S. quarter will be emblazoned with the image of the legendary Marvel Comics character who takes a leading role in the movie. This legal tender coin is a 2005 California statehood commemorative quarter minted by the United States Mint and specially color-enhanced by The Franklin Mint for Twentieth Century Fox.

I finally got around to capping Never Been Kissed (1999), adding a total of 256 HQ DVD screencaptures to the gallery. Jessica was actually in a large portion of this movie, but was mostly in the background, so in some caps you will have to search for her a little. And in my opinion, her performance was flawless. During the season finale of Heroes, NBC ran four different, brand new commercial spots for the film Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer. Those spots are now available at NBC’s own website.

There are a ton of new scenes featuring the Silver Surfer. Each thirty-second spot focuses primarily on one of the four different characters. And we get to see Johnny Blaze changing powers with his sister. Jessica Alba is on fire. Is that a metaphor, or am I buying too much into this comic book business?

The cast of Fantastic Four attended the 2007 Taurus World Stunt Awards in Los Angeles yesterday (May 20) and Jessica looks stunning in a shimmery black dress with long, straight hair.
