People is reporting that Jessica is the cover girl for CosmoGirl! (sporting an outtake from Parade back in June. ) - I assume it’s the January 2008 issue - scans would be greatly appreciated as I am unable to get hold of the magazine. Thanks in advance! Below is an extract from Jessica’s interview titled ‘love confessions’:

“Most guys, especially when they’re younger, really are only after one thing,” she says. “To all the girls out there, I don’t want to say, ‘Don’t give your heart to somebody like that,’ But wait at least a good year. You can be in a relationship and do some things, have fun, get to know each other – but don’t give them everything.

“That was something I did at a young age,” she adds, “fell in love and gave him my everything, and I was left with nothing. It took me a long time to put myself back together, and I wish someone would have told me back then to hang on to some of myself.”

Yes, it’s true! Jessica’s publicist Brad Cafarelli has confirmed to People that longtime boyfriend, Cash Warren, has indeed proposed - Jessica was seen sporting a diamond engagement ring on her left hand while out and about in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

We previously reported on the announcement that was made to People about Jessica and Cash expecting their first child together in late spring, early summer.

Congrats to the happy couple and can’t wait for the next public appearance!

I have made the decision to look for some donations for Jessica-Fan.com. This site is 100% non-profit and I pay out of my own pocket when it comes to renting out DVDs (or buying them) to make HQ screencaptures for the site, as well as magazines - either from eBay (which can be expensive, especially when shipping costs come into play) or in the shops.

As it is, there are several magazines currently on eBay that I would love to purchase to make scans with, exclusively for this site - this includes international editions of the recent Cosmopolitan spread and older issues from 2005 such as Entertainment Weekly and Rolling Stone - a huge number of the issues that I would love to purchase are available in the gallery but they do not contain the interviews.

However, I cannot afford them by myself - and as a result of this, I’ve missed out on several publications - a single magazine (even if it only costs $0.99) can add up to as much as $20, simply because of the shipping costs to the UK.

The People’s Choice Awards has become the first awards show hit by the writers’ strike, with producers abandoning the red carpet, acceptance speeches and live audience for a “magazine-style format.”

Queen Latifah will continue to serve as host of the show, but winners now will give their acceptance remarks via video rather than from a stage in an auditorium. Winners will also answer questions emailed by fans.

“Obviously, we realized there are pressing issues facing the entertainment industry,” says show spokeswoman Jeannie Tharrington. “Out of respect for all the people involved, we decided we would use this opportunity to use a new format.”

You may remember that Jessica is nominated in several categories: ‘Favourite Leading Lady’ (against Drew Barrymore and Queen Latifah) and ‘Favourite Female Action Star’ (against Jodie Foster and Keira Knightley) - the results shall be announced on January 8, 2008 on CBS.
