In other news, Jessica is indeed featured in the August 5 edition of OK! UK — Gareth Gates is on the cover; there is also a TV spot about the issue — and I have picked up a copy, but scans shall be added at a later date since the magazine is oversized.

Huge thanks to Hannah, I am able to provide you with the first set of scans from OK! magazine — namely the Australian issue dated July 28 — the photoshoot is lovely and the interview is well worth a read. I shall try to get hold of the US issue and I’m keeping an eye out for the UK issue. If anyone could donate scans from the Spanish issue, it would be greatly appreciated. Jessica, Cash, and their daughter, Honor, is also featured in the Spanish version of OK! magazine — an edition that was newly launched in the country some weeks back.

So far, I’ve only been able to find a MQ image of the cover (I’m assuming the interview is the same as the US version; same goes for the issue date.) The preview is to your right; view it in the gallery. Such a gorgeous portrait!

This was rumoured a few weeks back but I wasn’t going to post anything until OK! themselves posted something, and they now have.

Jessica, Cash, and their daughter, Honor, is featured in an exclusive spread in the July 28 issue of OK! magazine (issue #30) — hopefully I’ll be able to get my hands on the magazine very soon! Preparing for the birth of your first child can be nerve-wracking for any new mom, but for Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren, the birth of their daughter Honor Marie Warren on June 7 was anything but chaotic.

“I didn’t scream,” Jessica tells OK! in an exclusive interview and photoshoot. “It was really Zen.” And Cash could only marvel at his wife’s quiet strength when she gave birth. “She didn’t make a sound,” he says. “It was amazing.”

Here, the proud pair open their door exclusively to OK!, introducing the adorable Honor Marie Warren.

“It hasn’t totally sunk in,” Jessica reveals to OK!. “She dreams, she smiles, and coos and does all these things, but she hasn’t seen enough of the world yet to understand any of that stuff. So I still feel like she’s connected to the other world, or something. There’s no other way to explain it. It’s a miracle.”

Another magazine alert! This time it’s the August 2008 issue of Cosmopolitan UK — the photoshoot looks to contain outtakes from Arena (2007) — but I shall pick the magazine up the next time I’m in town, so expect scans very soon. Angelina Jolie may love being pregnant, but not everyone in Hollywood is similarly gushing.

“I never felt less sexy,” Jessica Alba says of her own pregnancy. “I mean, I wouldn’t have changed it for the world … but I wanted to get rid of all the weight.”

The actress, who gave birth to her daughter, Honor Marie, last month, opened up about motherhood – and her recent wedding to Cash Warren – in the August U.K. edition of Cosmopolitan magazine.

“I never thought I’d find a man before 30, let alone marry him and have his baby,” she told the magazine. “I always used to meet the wrong guys – the ones who wanted to hang out for a week and see how far they could get. If you didn’t have sex in the first few days, you were either frigid or a lesbian. So I held out – and, boy, am I glad I did!”

As for her no-frills wedding at the Beverly Hills courthouse, Alba insisted the hush-hush ceremony was “very romantic.” And she had no desire for an over-the-top, celebrity-studded ceremony.

“We’re not a typical Hollywood couple,” she said. “I love that he’s not an actor. I’m way too high maintenance to be in a relationship with an actor – they’re all such divas!”

Warren has also been instrumental in keeping Alba grounded during her rapid transformation into wife and mother.

“Nothing was planned – the pregnancy or the wedding,” she admitted. “But he took it in his stride and convinced me we’d conquer all!”

Until we get further confirmation, I’d take this piece of information with a grain of salt, but nevertheless, the article is posted below if you’d like to read it.

From CinemaBlend comes word that hot off the heels of Robert Rodriquez kicking Rose McGowan to the curb… Jessica Alba will star in the upcoming Barbarella remake. WOW! You will recall that the studio shelfed the movie because they wanted a bigger name on the bill. I have to admit Alba is a bigger name and one that will lure in a certain demographic of horn dog males! So a long while back we told you via reader Ashs Missing Hand that Robert Rodriquez’s Barbarella had been dropped by Universal. The source was the New York Observer that said the movie was dropped because of the female lead, namely Rose McGowan;

“It’s sort of embarrassing for everyone involved. … No one thinks Rose can carry the movie, but Robert won’t listen.” The paper adds that producer Dino De Laurentiis “wants to back Robert and his vision. But Robert’s vision is blurred by Rose.”

So there you have it. Seems that Barbarells is still on but with a much higher profile leading lady in the talks.

It’s been reported by several sources that Jessica is featured in a line up with other stars to make a guest appearance on Sesame Street. The article below suggests that the air date will be on August 11 — further confirmation shall be added as it becomes available!

The upcoming 39th season of “Sesame Street” will rock with a drop-in from Feist. The Canadian songstress will sing “Songs” with Elmo on August 11, joining a roster of guests that also includes Jack Black, Jessica Alba, David Beckham, Heidi Klum, Neil Patrick Harris and Jenny McCarthy.
