A quick update for today: Jessica has written another post on her official MySpace (opens in a new window) to discuss the Olympics, but she also mentions that she’ll be going to the NCLR ALMA Awards — Miss Alba also attended this event last year and presented an award — confirmation of the date shall be added later on.

Since the last public appearance this year was in May, it’s something to look forward to!

Father’s Day came early for Jessica Alba’s proud papi, Mark Alba. The California-based realtor was in Florida when he heard the news that Jessica was delivering, and tells us his daughter “flew him right out” to Los Angeles so he could be the first to get a glimpse of his granddaughter, Honor Marie Warren.

Mark revealed exclusively to Latina.com that little Honor Marie is the spitting image of her mother: “She’s got Jessica’s complexion, her hair, her eyes. She looks like Jessica when she was a baby.” The doting grandpa couldn’t stop himself from gushing, telling us he “thought Jessica was the prettiest baby I had ever seen, but I was wrong.” That title now belongs to Honor, he says.

Jessica Alba’s costars Justin Timberlake and Mike Myers in The Love Guru showered the new mom with well-wishes Monday.

“Congratulations Jessica!” said Timberlake at a press day in L.A. for the comedy. “She seems very patient, and I would assume that’s what it takes to be a good mother, a good parent for that matter.”

Alba, 27, and her husband Cash Warren, 31, welcomed daughter Honor Marie Warren on Saturday in Los Angeles.

“Honor Marie – that’s a cool name,” Timberlake says. “I’m happy for them. It’s beautiful.”

“She’ll be a great mother,” adds Myers. “She’s smart, she’s talented and she’s one of the most down-to-earth people I’ve ever worked with.”

And Guru costar Romany Malco says, “I would see her as being the type of mom who’s hip, hot, and at the same time very stern.”

Congrats! Jessica’s rep has confirmed to People.com that Jessica’s & Cash’s daughter was born on Saturday. The details weren’t confirmed until today, in case you’re wondering of the delay.

While I was shocked that Jessica & Cash had gotten married on the quiet, I can understand the reasoning behind it — this also explains why I don’t post candid images of Jessica going about her ‘daily’ life.

Jessica Alba’s May 19 wedding to boyfriend Cash Warren might be one the most strategically sound decisions the actress has made in her career.

For starters, by marrying just after Ashlee Simpson’s May 17 nuptials to Pete Wentz, Alba was all but guaranteed a certain level of privacy — photographers and reporters were simply too distracted to pick up on any hints that Alba and Warren would be marrying.

Mom-to-be Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have gotten married, PEOPLE confirms.

The couple quietly wed Monday, says her rep, Brad Cafarelli.

According to a source, they were married in the Beverly Hills courthouse’s ceremony room under an arch of green silk foliage and white flowers. They were casually dressed, with Alba wearing a long blue dress and her hair back in a ponytail.

“She looked happy but nervous,” the source says.

Warren, in a white shirt and brown pants, arrived with Alba at about 11:30 a.m. on Monday, applied for a marriage license and waited about 40 minutes for the paperwork to be processed before a staff member from the courthouse married them, the source says.

Nobody else attended the wedding, the source adds.

Alba, 27, is expecting a daughter with Warren, 31, this summer. The couple met while filming Fantastic Four and were engaged last December.

Today, April 28, is Jessica’s birthday — she turns 27 — and I’m sure you’ll join me in wishing a very happy birthday and sending our best wishes for a lovely day.
