I stumbled across this today: Jessica is on the cover of Genlux magazine in the June/July 2008 issue — in a brand new (and gorgeous!) photoshoot, which was taken when she was still pregnant. I’m not sure if it’s on newsstands just yet since the official website still has the Alicia Witt cover displayed, but we’ll try to get scans added a.s.a.p. In other news, we managed to get a copy of FitPregnancy and scans shall be added to the site once we find the time to actually scan the magazine.

Another cover for Miss Alba! This time it is the June/July 2008 issue of ‘FitPregnancy’ — we shall try to get hold of the mag to add scans. In the meanwhile, you can either:

This is a little short notice, but Jessica is currently on the cover of the June 2008 issue of ‘Allure’ — the cover is absolutely gorgeous! — scans shall, hopefully, be added a.s.a.p. as the issue is apparently on newsstands now. Be sure to buy it. Select quotes from the interview, courtesy of People.com are posted below.

On Her Steamy Public Image: “[Hollywood] always play[s] up your sexuality, because that’s what gets men into the theaters. And I never really gave a s— about all that stuff! It’s nothing to be ashamed of. But it is definitely not what I am about by any means!”

On Owning Her Sexuality: “I don’t think I was comfortable with my sexuality until I was an adult, probably, like, 22 – that’s when I stopped apologizing and stopped feeling ashamed. I did the Vagina Monologues in L.A. That made me proud.”

On Sex Before Marriage: “I never believed women had to be virgins when they got married, or that a woman has to fall in love with a guy just because they’re having sex. I don’t think sex is a big deal. I hated the hypocrisy of it. Men can do whatever, and it’s acceptable.”

Jessica is once again inside the ‘Most Beautiful’ issue of People magazine; this time with fiancé Cash Warren. Scans shall be added as soon as we get hold of the magazine. In the meanwhile, view the gorgeous (new!) shoot at People.com; quote is below.

“[Pregnancy is] the most beautiful thing that can happen to you,” Alba, 26, says, admitting that she has a bit of a “glow.” “Everything in my face is puffed up. I have the face of a teenager! I feel like I’m 16 again.” Even Warren, 31, says he’s gotten in on the action, admitting, “I don’t know if it’s as much of a pregnancy glow as kind of a barbecue-grease glow. I’ve gained probably about 10 pounds.”

Yet another magazine alert! This time, Jessica is on the cover of ‘Latina’, also the March issue, which will hit newsstands February 19 (a week after the ‘Marie Claire’ issue!) Unfortunately, I am unable to get hold of this magazine, so scans would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance! Jessica is on the cover of the March issue of ‘Marie Claire’ (US) and she looks stunning; it is a brand new - and gorgeous! - photoshoot. Head on over to the official website to download a coupon for $0.50 off the issue, and to view the stunning cover. Extracts from the interview is below - the issue hits newsstands nationwide on February 12. We shall, hopefully, have scans soon!

On being a role model: “When I was a little girl, I always wanted someone to look up to. I think identity was a big deal to me because I didn’t fit in with one certain race. I always wanted someone who looked like me, who was a positive role model.”

On being bullied at school: “I had a lot of haters. They’d unzip my backpack so my books would fall out. They’d tie my shoes together. They’d ‘accidentally’ spill lunches on me.’”

On Hollywood’s perception of women: “There’s a lot of pressure on women to fulfill certain fantasies. They expect you to be a little bit of a tart, to flirt with all the men. A lot of women do it. But I’m not doing that. I talk with these guys about their wives and kids right away. When they say inappropriate things, I let them, because boys will be boys, but I’m not looking to participate in their conversations.”
