DVD Times is reporting that the Region 1 DVD of the The Love Guru will be released on September 16, 2008 (no RRP just yet) as a single-disc release, although there will also be a Digital Copy 2-Disc Edition that offers the same content plus a second disc with digital copy; features are under the cut.

Rental company LOVEFiLM has the Region 2 DVD of the The Love Guru listed as being December 26, 2008 — no word on features just yet.

In other news, Awake was recently released on Region 2 — I shall be ordering my copy soon.

A heads up for UK fans: according to Play.com; Awake will be released on region 2 DVD August 25, 2008 — no details on the extra features & specs just yet — I shall keep you up to date on that, but you can pre-order the DVD here.

A film that had been in the works for a while, Meet Bill, was released in limited theaters in St. Louis and Minneapolis last week (April 4), so be sure to see the movie if you’re in the area! I shall be adding production stills and such like very shortly.

In other news, Awake was also released on the same date (April 4) in UK theaters, with The Eye and The Love Guru being released on April 25 and July 18 respectively.

You may be aware that Awake was released on DVD several weeks ago in the US (region 1) - the film shall be released in UK theatres on April 4. In other news, Good Luck Chuck was released on DVD a week ago in the UK (region 2) - screencaps shall be added a.s.a.p.!

According to DVDTown.com, the region 1 release of Awake will be on March 4, 2008 by Genius Products (not March 11, as previously reported.)

Extras will include; an “Audio commentary,” “Seven deleted scenes,” a “Behind the scenes featurette,” and “Storyboard-to-film comparisons.”

Still no word on the region 2 release, just yet!

Two of Jessica’s films from this past summer have been released on DVD today in the US (region 1) - Good Luck Chuck and The Ten. Be sure to buy them, they both feature a wealth of extras.

No word yet on the region 2 release for The Ten while Good Luck Chuck will be released on March 10. And finally, the region 1 release for Awake is slated for March 11 (no word yet on specs or features.)
