Welcome to the new version of Jessica Alba Fan! This lovely layout was designed by my good friend Mikaela — thanks hon! I’ve spent the last few weeks (and the last several days; hence the maintenance mode) converting the site content to the ever nifty WordPress, so hopefully it’s now more user friendly for everyone. Be sure to have a look round as I’ve updated the pages and added plenty of new ones too!

Jessica will be appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show this Friday, May 9 — be sure to check your local listings for the times — apologies for the short notice, I only just found out myself, via Jessica’s official MySpace. The synopsis is below, screencaptures shall be added a.s.a.p.!

On Friday, if you’re a mother or if you are planning on being a mother or if you’ve ever had a mother, you can’t miss our second annual all pregnant audience member Mother’s Day show! We’ve got some incredible surprises waiting for you, and like all my Mother’s Day shows, we’ve got some amazing giveaways including a fantastic giveaway to one extra special new mother. I know you’re not supposed to cause undue stress in an expectant mother, but I guarantee we’re going to freak some mamas’ freaks! Speaking of new mothers, the gorgeous and talented JESSICA ALBA will be stopping by. As many of you know, Jessica is with child. (She’s due this summer!) We’ll talk about her upcoming motherhood and her wonderful new movie, “The Love Guru.” She stars with Mike Myers, and it’s supposed to be a summer blockbuster! And, what would Mother’s Day be without some hilarious web videos?

I’ve updated the gallery with a large batch of press junket screencaptures to promote The Eye; some were recorded earlier on, some are newer. A few of the albums also contain never-before-seen clips! I also came across an old interview — recorded around 2001 during the Dark Angel days — screecaps have been added to the gallery.

A heads up for UK fans: according to Play.com; Awake will be released on region 2 DVD August 25, 2008 — no details on the extra features & specs just yet — I shall keep you up to date on that, but you can pre-order the DVD here.

Jessica is once again inside the ‘Most Beautiful’ issue of People magazine; this time with fiancé Cash Warren. Scans shall be added as soon as we get hold of the magazine. In the meanwhile, view the gorgeous (new!) shoot at People.com; quote is below.

“[Pregnancy is] the most beautiful thing that can happen to you,” Alba, 26, says, admitting that she has a bit of a “glow.” “Everything in my face is puffed up. I have the face of a teenager! I feel like I’m 16 again.” Even Warren, 31, says he’s gotten in on the action, admitting, “I don’t know if it’s as much of a pregnancy glow as kind of a barbecue-grease glow. I’ve gained probably about 10 pounds.”

Apologies for the lack of updates lately but I’ve been busy with other sites and offline, but not to worry, as I’m currently working on a new layout and revamping the content behind-the-scenes so that will hopefully be launched very shortly.
